Analysis
KINOBUC bets on silence: the Pentium Gold 6500Y runs fanless, so the machine is completely silent during normal use. It offsets the basic CPU with 16GB of RAM and a generous port selection (up to 6 different connections) so you don't have to rely on adapters.
What we like
- Fanless operation, completely silent
- 16GB of RAM
- Wide port selection (6 total)
- Kensington lock slot for physical security
Worth knowing
- Only 6 hours of claimed battery life, among the lowest in the catalog
- Single-core Pentium processor, very limited
- RAM not upgradeable
Anyone who values absolute silence above all else, for working in quiet spaces like libraries.
