How We Choose and Score Every Device

Every machine we review gets six scores from 0 to 10 — performance, graphics, display, portability, battery life and value for money — calculated from its real specifications, compared against the rest of the current catalog. These aren't manufacturer figures: they're our editorial reading of those specs, designed so you can compare machines at a glance.

When a data point is missing (for example, battery life on a desktop with no battery), we show it as "—" or "N/A" instead of inventing it — we never fill gaps with numbers we haven't verified.

Prices are a snapshot from when we reviewed each listing (date shown on every page) and can change on Amazon at any time — the final price is always whatever Amazon shows at checkout. The Colombian peso (COP) conversion is approximate, computed at a reference exchange rate and not in real time.

We recompute all six scores for the entire catalog every time we add a new machine, so they stay comparable with each other.
